If you really thought carefully about it, I think all of you will be giving me the same answer.

Avoid the scams!

Simple as that.

But, time and again, we always fall into the same trap. Being part of the enthusiastic millions who are searching for easy, productive, honest and meaningful ways to start up and build up successful home based businesses, it’s very easy to fall prey to the many scams existing in both the online and real world. (seems awfully like The Matrix here… bear with me.)

These scam artists have many weapons in their arsenal, patiently waiting like snipers to take out these over-trusting individuals, like us, to make a quick buck(s).

Must be daunting huh… hearing that there are indeed folks who make more from Adsense in a day than some salaried workers do in a month.

Sure is frightening…

And you might wonder what’s their secret behind it?

Well, there are quite a number of internet marketers doing what we would call “mass blogging”, i.e. with one click of the button, and a few minutes later (usually less!), they have started AND uploaded more than 1000 blogs, with all the linking here and there, backlinks etc, and they have RSS feeds for their content. And these “blogs” are generating thousands!

Yes :)
I finally managed to create an Opt-In form on my website.

It’s amazing isn’t it?

Look towards the top right hand corner of this screen and you’ll see it.

“Get FREE instant access to “The Basic Guide to Search Engines” by Chee Shan, and a 6-Step Affiliate Formula to being “Number One” by Ewen Chia.”

I just need your name and your email address. Couldn’t be any simpler than that.

Well, it’s these kinda things that give me a sense of satisfaction, especially when I know close to nuts about programming and HTML. And it requires hours of tweaking this.. tweaking that.. trying this.. and so on, in order to achieve reasonable results. But I would definitely prefer to slog it out to understand PHP and MySQL, rather than to outsource it.

Why?

I love the feeling of accomplishment, and I ain’t getting too much of it nowadays :)

School hasn’t started for me yet, and I’ll be flying to London again very soon, from warm, sunny, rainy, and awfully cheap Singapore. Meanwhile, I’m busy trying to brainstorm for ideas in creating and marketing something which I’m developing in the background.

I’m lovin’ it.
